The death has taken place of Pat O’Hara from Foxford.
The deceased was widely known and respected as the proprietor of O’Hara’s Bakery in Foxford.
A tribute on the bakery's Facebook page stated: "We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our boss, co-worker, colleague and friend."
Pat and his family have provided valuable employment to the area over a long number of years which has seen the O’Hara’s brand developed into one of the best known in the country.
Pat O’Hara’s funeral will take place on Monday, with the funeral cortege leaving his residence at 11.45am to St Michael’s Church, Foxford arriving for funeral Mass at 12.30pm with the funeral proceeding to Craggagh cemetery.
Due to Government advice and guidelines regarding public gatherings, the funeral Mass will be for family and close friends.
Local Councillor Neil Cruise has described Pat as a gentleman who was good to so many and his many acts of kindness was done in a discreet manner.
