Rail services from the West of Ireland to Dublin will return to pre-covid levels after the bank holiday weekend.
That’s according to the Corporate Communications Manager of Irish Rail Barry Kenny.
From Tuesday the 4th of August train timetables across the country will be restored to their original schedules to meet the recovering demand.
There will be additional stops for customers travelling on the Western lines to accommodate reduced services for Portlaoise and Kildare commuters.
Irish Rail’s Barry Kenny is appealing to those using the service going forward to avoid travelling during peak travel times.
