Radio stations around Ireland will play 'Put 'Em Under Pressure' at 12.30 today as a mark of respect for Jack Charlton, who will be laid to rest this afternoon in the North East of England.

The FAI are asking supporters to wear green in honour of the former Republic of Ireland manager.

Jack's son, John, has thanked the people of Ireland for their outpouring of support.

Almost 20 thousand people have signed the online book of condolences, and the FAI will honour Jack's memory in the future when coronavirus restrictions are lifted.

Locally, people will gather at the Ridgepool in Ballina at 12.30 this afternoon, to pay their respects to Big Jack, who was a regular visitor to Ballina where he fished the River Moy.
