Keem Bay in Achill is the nation's favourite seaside resort.
That's according to a new national survey on Irish staycations.
The online survey was carried out over 5 days last week, and shows that Co Kerry is the country's number one staycation destination this Summer, with one-quarter of those polled saying they will be flocking to the Kingdom now that lockdown restrictions have been lifted.
The national poll also asked what seaside location Irish people would like to visit post-lockdown, with 14% opting for Keem Bay in Achill which came out well ahead of other popular beach destinations such as Saltill, Bundoran, Inch and Lahinch.
Salthill in Galway is the most preferred seaside destination for Dublin residents, while those in Munster are more likely to prefer Keem on Achill Island.
