€215,000 has been approved by Údarás na Gaeltachta for businesses in Gaeltacht areas of Mayo, Galway and Meath in recent weeks, to support them during the Covid-19 crisis.

Udarás says supports of €215,000 were approved for 86 businesses.

30 applications were approved for the Online Trading Scheme, and 56 were approved for Business Continuity Vouchers - which can be used by businesses to avail of consultancy advice in developing short-term and longterm strategies to respond to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The majority of businesses approved for the Údaras supports are in the Services, Food & Drink and Tourism sectors.
