A group of young Green party members have said they can't support the Programme for Government because it risks a return to austerity.
The signatories - Tate Donnelly, Julie O'Donoghue, Sean McCabe and Mayo's Saoirse McHugh - are all from rural constitiuencies.
They say the carbon tax proposal as it stands would particularly affect rural and low-income families
Leaders of the youth wing of Fine Gael and Fianna Fail have also rejected the programme and any plans for coalition with one another
