The 2-metre social distancing rule could be scrapped for pubs and the rest of the hospitality sector next month.

 

The Irish Mail on Sunday reports ministers want a reduction to 1.5 or 1 metre - if the infection rate of coronavirus remains low.

 

Pubs that serve food will now be allowed to re-open on June 29th, weeks earlier than planned.
