The 5-year old boy who lost his life in a drowning tragedy on Lough Mask earlier this week will be laid to rest tomorrow (Friday).
Ben Duffy from Treen, Tourmakeady fell from a dinghy which drifted from the shoreline on Monday evening.
Ben had been playing with family members in a shallow area of the lake when it's believed a sudden gust of wind caused the dinghy to drift rapidly out of reach.
He's survived by his parents Alan and Tracey Duffy, siblings Matthew, Daniel, Darcey and Dolan, grandparents and extended family.
The funeral will leave his grandparents home in Sraheen at 11 am tomorrow morning, arriving at Tourmakeady Church for Mass at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Aghagower Cemetery.
The funeral cortege will travel via Trianlaur, Srah and Killawalla en route to the cemetery.
In accordance with Government guidelines, Ben's funeral Mass will be for family only.
