Hospice Sunflower Days takes place in June each year and aims to raise much needed funds for hospices and specialist palliative home care services across Ireland enabling them to continue to provide person centred, holistic and loving care to patients and their loved ones free of charge.

This year marks the 30th year of the campaign, however, due to Covid-19, they have unfortunately cancelled their annual Hospice Sunflower Days on-street collection. In 2019 the event raised almost €800,000 for hospices nationwide and €80,000 for Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation which is a huge loss to frontline services.

In place of the on-street collection, they are asking the public to support their local hospice for Hospice Sunflower Days by making a donation to their local hospice online at: https://www.hospice.ie/donations/donate-online/

IMPORTANT: Every euro raised locally stays locally, and goes directly to each local hospice.

The theme this year is Share the Sunshine and they have downloadable ‘Sunflower’ packs on their website for people to download and display in their windows this weekend, when it should have been Sunflower Days.

Pack available here:

Please support this very worthy cause if you can and than you for your support.
