A number of Supermacs restaurants are reopening from today, over a phased basis.
The outlets will be operating delivery, 'drive thru' and 'drive and collect' services, in order to comply with social distancing measures, while seating areas in their restaurants will remain closed.
Three outlets in Galway will begin services today, with the Supermacs on the Tuam Road and Headford Road operating a drive-thru, while the outlet in Newcastle will be delivery only.
A further 12 Supermacs outlets will resume business this Friday - including the outlets in Ballindine, Roscommon Town and Sligo - they will operate a Drive Thru and Drive & Collect service.
Supermacs says that, since they closed on 26th March, they have spent the time developing systems and processes in order to open and provide a service.
The company says only outlets that can fully implement social distancing guidelines for staff and customers will open, and all services will be contactless.
There will be a dedicated work station for each staff member, full PPE will be provided and staff will have their temperature recorded before each shift.
