Ireland West Airport Knock assures it’s passengers that it is business as usual at the airport.

The airport has no direct flights to regions badly affected by the coronavirus outbreak, as all of its air services during the winter season are to the UK only.

A spokesperson for the airport told Midwest News that they are following the latest advice from the HSE and they have a dedicated HSE representative at the airport to give advice to all passengers but especially those returning from affected areas.

Donal Healy, Head of Communications at IWAK told Midwest Radio’s John Morley that passenger numbers have been on a par this week.
