The location in Mayo where the winning EuroMillions ticket, worth €17 million, was sold on Tuesday last was revealed on Midwest News this morning.

Mulroy's Londis Moneen, Castlebar sold it. It was a quick pick.
There are great celebrations at the store today to celebrate the jackpot. Alan Mulroy of Mulroy’s Londis said they are “over the moon” with the win, and added that Castlebar is a lucky location with the third major EuroMillions win in the county town over the past six years.

The busy petrol station and store has hired a DJ for the day to celebrate selling the golden ticket-with refreshments for customers.

The identity of the winner remains unknown, but anyone who bought a EuroMillion euro ticket in Mulroy’s Londis, on the roundabout in Castlebar on Tuesday is encouraged to check their ticket.

The winning numbers on Wed night were 24,26, 32, 43, 46 and the Lucky Star numbers are 6 and 10.

This wasn't the only prize won in Castlebar this week, as the Euromillions Plus top prize of €500,000 was won on a ticket sold in Eason's in Castlebar on Tuesday.
