Met Eireann has issued a status yellow snow and ice warning for the entire country for Monday and Tuesday.
The warning comes into effect from midnight tonight until Tuesday night, with widespread wintry showers over the two days, with some snowfall accumulations especially in the west and north.
Some disruption to travel is possible.
Also, a status yellow wind warning remains in place until 12 noon tomorrow.
Storm Ciara will continue to produce some very strong west to southwest winds over Ireland, with gusts of between 90 and 110 km/h - higher in Atlantic coastal areas.
