The agency staff were all given notice commencing on Monday 20th January 2020 in Mayo and Galway. A further 60 staff across the Galway, Mayo & Roscommon  will not be replaced when they leave in 2020.  The letter also states that there will be no replacement for maternity leave, sick leave in 2020, which is averaging around 30 at any one time.

Deputy Calleary said this government is failing patients already on long waiting lists in urgent need of vital services.
