If election posters are not erected at least 7 foot above the ground, which is a legal requirement, then they pose a danger to people who are visually impaired or blind. That’s according to the National Council for the Blind of Ireland (NCBI).

It’s highlighting that election posters hung too low can pose a safety hazard to visually impaired people and calling for a ban on election posters, both because of the potential safety risk and on environmental grounds.
