The Executive Director of IDA Ireland says there are investments in the financial services sector coming to Ireland as a direct result of Brexit.
Mary Buckley says the IDA has won about 50 investments through Brexit which has the potential to create over four thousand jobs.
Notably, 58% of employment in IDA companies was outside of Dublin in 2018, which is the highest number of people employed by IDA clients in the history of the organisation.
The IDA was in Castlebar yesterday for the announcement of 150 new jobs for the region in the establishment of a new manufacturing facility.
Speaking to Midwest Radio News, Ms. Buckley says the regions outside of Dublin are doing well as a result of foreign direct investment and employment.
