Met Eireann have issued a status Yellow Weather alert for rainfall for counties Mayo, Sligo and Donegal which will remain in place until 3pm tomorrow.
Rainfall of between 25 and 50 mm is expected to fall.
The rest of the week remains unsettled as very heavy rain and wind are expected at times.
