The National Lottery has confirmed that an 18-person syndicate won last night’s Euromillions Plus prize of half a million euro.
The syndicate is a group of administration staff from Portiuncla Hospital in Ballinasloe.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was bought yesterday in the Oasis shop within Portiuncla Hospital.
A spokesperson for the National Lottery told Midwest News this afternoon that the syndicate has made contact them, and the winning ticket has been verified.
Arrangements are now being made for the group to collect the prize.
There was no winner of last night’s EuroMillions jackpot of 115 million euro.
