Bridget (Bridgie) Raftery (née Regan),

Castleteehan, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon - peacefully, at her home surrounded by her loving family, in her 95th year on Friday, January 3rd, 2025.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Willie, her brothers Dominick, Tom, Jack and Paul.

Bridgie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, her son PJ (Santry) and her daughter Mary O’Connell (Castleteehan). Her brothers Stephen (London), Jim (Roscommon) and Martin (Lucan). Also, by her adored and loving grandchildren Pamela (Alan), David (Michelle), Maura (Adrian) and Liam (Rachel). Her great-grandchildren Jamie, Tony, Haze, Cian, Molly, Callum, Matthew, Chloe and James. Daughter-in-law Mary and son-in-law Matt. Nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, her wonderful neighbours and her large circle of friends.

May She Rest in Peace.

Reposing at McDonagh’s Funeral Home, Castlerea on Monday evening from 4 o’clock until 7 o’clock with removal at 7:15 to St. Paul’s Church, Kilmurry.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 12noon with burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s cemetery, Castlerea.
