David Flannelly,
Springfield, Castlebar and late of Springhill, Ballyvary (20th November 2024) - peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, in his 80th year.
Pre-deceased by his parents Paddy and Patricia Flannelly.
Dearly loved husband of Julie, loving father of sons David, Lance and John, daughter Susan, adored granddad of Ewan, Niamh, James and Edith.
Deeply regretted by his brother Patrick and sister-in-law Breda, brother-in-law Michael Twomey, sister-in-law Peggy Galligan, daughters-in-law Patricia, Helen and Fiona, son-in-law Craig Olsen, nieces, nephews and his many friends and neighbours.

David will repose at Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlebar, F23 XY63 on Friday, 22nd November from 5.00pm with removal at 7.00pm to his residence.
Removal from his residence on Saturday morning at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11.30am in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.
David will be laid to rest afterwards in Castlebar Old Cemetery.

David was one of the very first people we met on our arrival in Castlebar in 1983.
He was an absolute gentleman to deal with and that trait was obviously passed down to the next generation.
