Helena Bernadette Durkan nee Flynn (better known as Bernie),

Rathnacreeva, Ballyglass, Claremorris - peacefully at the Sacred Heart Hospital, Castlebar, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Bob, sisters Tess, Rita, Phil and Mae, brothers Joe and Tony.

Deeply regretted by her sons Tom (Kilcock), P.J. (Ashbourne), Tony (Castlebar), J.P. (Dun Laoghaire) and Martin (Gortaphuill), daughters-in-law Marie, Liz, Phil, Dymphna and Anne, fourteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Noreen Durkan (Castlebar), Sadie Sugrue nee Durkan (New York), nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Rest in peace.

Reposing at Ballyglass Community Centre (F12D500) on Saturday evening from 5 o'clock until 8 o'clock.

Removal from her home on Sunday to the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace and St. Gerald, Mayo Abbey (F12VN25) for Funeral Mass at 12 o'clock, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Funeral mass will be live streamed on https://www.facebook.com/byrneundertakers/

Donations if desired to Mayo Abbey Active Retirement or Sacred Heart Hospital Comfort Fund.
