Árd Bhríde, Castlebar, Co. Mayo - peacefully at Cuan Chaitriona, Castlebar (25^th May 2024)

Formerly of Convents of Mercy Ballina, Belmullet and Ballycastle and 35 Amana Estate, Ballina; late of Drumslide, Ballycroy, Co. Mayo.

Reunited in her heavenly home with her parents, Mike and Bridgie and her sister Bridgie-Mary.

Deeply regretted by her brothers John and Jim, her sisters Catherine and Julia, brothers-in-law Tom Lynch & Jim Hegarty and sisters-in-law Rose & Ann, nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives and friends, Sisters of Mercy, Árd Bhríde and the Western Province.

Rest in Peace Sr. Rita

Sr. Rita will lie in repose at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina this Monday evening, 27th May from 5.00pm with removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballina at 6:30pm

Funeral Mass will take place in St. Patrick’s Church, Ballina on Tuesday, 28th May at 12 noon followed by burial in the Convent Cemetery, Ballina.
