Gemma Kavanagh (née Sweeney),

Carne, Belmullet, Co. Mayo - peacefully at Rathborne Nursing Home, Ashtown, Dublin, surrounded by her loving family on 4^th April 2024.

Predeceased by her husband Michael.

Beloved mother of Mary, Michelle, Seán, Brendan, Ashling, Tom and Gemma. Cherished Granny to her seventeen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her family, brother Raymond, sisters Mary and Rita, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces and nephews, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law and her wide circle of friends.

May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

Remains reposing at the Rathborne Nursing Home, Ashtown, Dublin D15 CAA4 on Friday from 4 o’clock followed by prayers and removal at 5 o’clock.

Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Saturday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock.

Funeral will arrive at the Church of the Holy Family, Carne for Funeral Mass on Sunday at 12 noon followed by burial in Emlybeg Cemetery.

Live streaming of the Funeral Mass is available for viewing on McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page on Sunday afternoon at 12 noon with all other funeral services available for viewing at 8pm on Sunday evening.
