Station Road, Castlebar, Co. Mayo - peacefully, at his home on 8th March 2024.
Predeceased by his parents Charlie and Nelly Hanley.
Deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife Attracta, sons Cathal, Padraic, John and Colm, daughters-in-law Deirdre, Maeve, Orlaith and Collette, his adored grandchildren Matthew, Ben, Luke and Pippa-Rose, brother-in-law Padraic, sister-in-law Marian, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlebar on Sunday, 10th March from 4 p.m. with removal at 7 p.m. to his home.
Removal from his home on Monday at 10 a.m. for Requiem Mass at 11.30am in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.
John will be laid to rest afterwards in Castlebar New Cemetery.
Requiem Mass will be streamed live at http://www.churchtv.ie/castlebar or listened to in Castlebar on the Parish Radio Channel 105.3FM.

I've treasured memories of John competing in local annual sports events, many years ago, in Mayo Abbey and Ballyglass and in later years as a great Mayo GAA supporter. A genuine friend and great character; sorry you didn't live to see 'SAM' come again. RIP John
