Roger (Roddy) Hughes,

Late of Kilgarriff, Lavally, Tuam, Co. Galway - who died peacefully on 7th January 2024, in the tender care of the staff at Aras Mhuire Nursing Unit, Tuam.

Predeceased by his parents Nellie and Michael Hughes, his brothers Willie and Micheal John, his sister Mary (Haverty).

Very sadly missed by his nephews Michael Haverty and his wife Mary, Henry Haverty and his wife Rena, grandnephews, grandnieces, his beloved sister-in-law Kathleen Hughes, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Clonberne Community Centre, Clonberne on Wednesday evening 10th January 2024 from 6 o’clock until 7 o’clock.

Funeral Mass on Thursday morning 11th January 2024 in The Church of Our Lady and St. Jarlath, Lavally at 11 o’clock followed by burial afterwards in Clonberne Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Aras Mhuire Nursing Unit for their Kindness and care in making Roger's last few years so comfortable.
