James (Jimmy) Carty,
Trien, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon - slipped away on October 23rd, 2023 in his home surrounded by his family.
Predeceased by his parents Susanna (née McHugh) and Michael Carty.
Loved by his wife Frances (née Daly), his children Mary, Susan, Michael, Concepta, Martin, Fintan, James, Christina, Gerry and Bernard, his grandchildren Dara, Matthew, Cathal and James, his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, his sons and daughters-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.
James will be lying in repose in his home (Eircode F45 F258) on Tuesday, October 24th from 3pm to 7pm followed by removal to St. Caolin’s Church, Trien at 7.15pm.
Requiem Mass at St. Caolin’s Church, Trien on Wednesday, October 25th at 12 noon with burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Castlerea.
Jimmy’s family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of St. Patrick’s Ward, University Hospital Galway, Palliative Care, Roscommon and The Irish Cancer Society.
