Corclough West, Belmullet, Co. Mayo and formerly of Dooyork, Geesala - peacefully, at the Belmullet Community Hospital surrounded by his loving family on 31st August 2023.
Predeceased by his dear wife Maureen (née Heneghan), beloved son Chris, sisters Mary, Nora, Anne, Binnie and brothers Pat, Ted and Micheál (Mick).
Beloved father of Anne Carey (Corclough West, Belmullet), James (Corclough West, Belmullet) , Martin (Newcastle, Galway), David (Rossport), Kevin (Corclough West, Belmullet) and Damian (Newbridge, Co Kildare), dear grandfather to Michelle, Joanne, Ciara, Dean, Sarah, Jack, Luke, Ellen, Amy, Rachel, Bryan, Christopher, David, Shauna, Katie, Lauren and Emma and great-grandfather to Leah, Ellie, Kate, Isla, Daniel, Jack, Anna and Eabha. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his dear sister Bridget Mulleady (Liss, Hampshire, England), son in law Aidan, daughters in law Colette, Rita, Teresa and Liz, brother in law Packie Heneghan (Doolough, Geesala and Hampshire, England), sister in law Kathleen Deane (Ocean View, Belmullet), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Saturday evening from 5 O’Clock until 7 O’Clock. Funeral will arrive at the Church of the Holy Family, Carne, Belmullet on Sunday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in Tarmoncarra cemetery. The family home will remain private for family on Saturday evening and Sunday morning by request.
Live streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available for viewing on McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page on Sunday at 12 noon.
