Maura Irwin nee Murphy,

The Acres, Killala, Co. Mayo and formerly of “Bellingham”, Bunree, Ballina, Co. Mayo - peacefully at St. Augustine’s Nursing Home, Ballina on the 16th of August 2023.

Predeceased by her husband Brendan, her son Brian, her parents Mary Kate and John, sister Triona and brothers Seamus, Sean and Liam.

Beloved mother of Deirdre, Sharon and John.

She will be sadly missed by her son and daughters, her adored grandchildren Aoife and Liam, her daughters-in-law Liz and Denise, her brother Eamon and sister Renee, sister-in-law Marie and her nieces, nephews and extended family, neighbours and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Maura will repose at Lynn’s Funeral Home, Killala on Friday evening, August 18th from 6.30pm with removal at 8.00pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Killala.

Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 19th at 11.00am followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.

House strictly private please.
