It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Walter Cannon.
Walter died after a short illness in the exceptional care of the staff of St. Finbar’s ward and the high dependency ward at Galway University Hospital.
Pre-deceased by his parents Jack and Áine, brothers Seán, Michael and Séamus.
Walter is deeply mourned and will be very sadly missed by his sisters Treasa and Sr. Maura, nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, extended family and friends.
Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91 V1K8) on Wednesday evening 2nd August from 4 o’clock with Removal at 5 o’clock to the Church of the Resurrection, Ballinfoyle (H91 W298).
Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning 3rd August at 10.30 and following Mass he will be laid to rest in Ballyheane Cemetery, Co. Mayo, arriving at 12.45 approximately.
Memorial donations if desired to Cope Galway.
