James McDonnell (better known as Jimmy),
Belderrig Beg, Belderrig, Ballina, Co. Mayo - peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family on 12th July 2023.
Predeceased by his parents Martin and Kate and his brother Martin.
Beloved husband of Deirdre (née McHale) and dear father of Martin John (Belderrig Beg), Seamus (Rathfran, Lacken), Mairead (Athenry, Co. Galway), Dónal (Mountbellew, Co. Galway), Bríd (Belderrig Beg) and Sinéad (Newport).
He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family – daughters-in-law Áine, Mary and Jade, sons-in-law Mossie, Gerard and Kevin, grandchildren, Annie, James, Katelynn, Padraig, Michéal, Dylan, Caoimhe, Saoirse, Aoife, Killian, Amy and Natasha, brother Michael (Lenarevagh, Glenamoy), sisters Mary McTigue (Foxford), Bridie Maughan (Ballina) and Kathleen Doherty (Ballycastle), brother in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Remains reposing at his residence in Belderrig Beg (Eircode – F26 V599) on Saturday afternoon from 1 o’clock until 7 o’clock that evening.
Funeral will arrive at St. Teresa’s Church, Belderrig on Sunday for Funeral Mass at 1.30 followed by burial in Belderrig Cemetery.
Live streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available for viewing on McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page on Sunday at 1.30 with all other funeral services available for viewing on Sunday evening at 8 o’clock.
