He and Mary-Jo were such a HUGE part of my childhood holidays in Ireland (I am Paddy and Nora Clancy’s granddaughter - Maureen’s eldest daughter) and I have such happy memories of cutting turf/making hay with Grandad and then going round to Brendan and Mary-Jo’s in Kinard afterwards where there was always a full house and lots of love and laughter.

Childhood friendships with Regina and Mark meant that seeing the Lynnott’s was a daily occurrence over the summer holidays - I will treasure those memories forever.

Brendan was a ray of sunshine and lit up any room he entered, always upbeat and had many a scéal to tell.I enjoyed every minute of his company when our paths crossed at The Clancy households.My visits were made all the more wholesome by his presence and I particularly enjoyed many of his many “one liners”May ur Dad rest in eternal peace with his darling MaryJo.
