Ann Hope (née Kenny),

"Shandonagh", Newport Road, Westport, Co. Mayo (January 30th 2023).

Predeceased by her parents Jack and Nan and sister Mary.

Ann will be deeply missed by her loving family, her adoring husband Fergal, daughter Stephanie, sons Brian, Jamie and Kenny, grandchildren Róisín, Colin, Jack, Ella, Charlie, Rory, Paddy, Darragh, Anna, Aoibh and Alannah, brother Charlie, sister Marlene, son-in-law Peter, daughters-in-law Michelle, Katrina and Lorraine, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace

Ann will be reposing at her home (F28 PF68) on Wednesday, February 1st from 3.30pm until 6.30pm.

Funeral arriving to St. Mary's Church, Westport on Thursday, February 2nd for Mass at 1pm.

Burial afterwards in Aughaval Cemetery.

Mass will be live streamed on www.churchtv.ie/westport

So sorry to hear of the passing of Ann, will forever remember the great times we had as kids and how well we were treated, almost like a second home at times. Ann and Fergal were always so good to us. At times I feel I treated Brian badly at the salmon fishing in Belclare but that was all part of our childhood. Many great days fishing, many feeds of salmon and sea trout, whether caught on the rod on Belclare or caught in the Nets in Pullgarrif or Shiveduliua Island. All were great memories and many a time Ann would watch over us, if it was after an evening playing football or raiding orchards. We did everything! We will all miss Ann, the class of many, today dispersed all over. Many will miss Ann Hope and Fergal and family will be very hurt but, time heals loss and Steff, Brian, Jamie and Kenny and their extended families will all have fond memories of one of Westport finest ladies. Rest in peace Ann from all in Laghloon!
