Finbar (Finney) McNamara,

Bookla, Ballymoe, County Galway (11th January, 2023) in his 89th year, peacefully but unexpectedly at Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe, formerly in the tender loving care of the dedicated staff of Áras Mhathair Phoil, Castlerea.

Predeceased by his parents James and Mary, infant son John, sister Mary and foster brother Austin.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Maureen, his children Ann (Croghan, Leixlip), Cyril (Sligo), Monique (Fleming, Claregalway), Finbarr (Ballinaheglish), James (JJ, Dundalk) and Niall, sons-in-law Brendan and Declan, daughters-in-law Sarah, Bernie, Ashling and Mary, grandchildren Paul, Michelle, Barry, Rachel, Niamh, Jake, Sean, River, Leah, Harry, Ross, Jade, Zach, Alex, Fionn and Ella, brothers-in-law Andrew and James, sister-in-law Margaret, niece, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May His Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Reposing at Flanagans Funeral Home, Ballymoe on Saturday, 14th January, 2023 from 4pm with removal at 7pm to St. Croan's Church, Ballymoe.

Funeral Mass on Sunday, 15th January, 2023 at 1pm followed by burial in Kilcroan cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Áras Mhathair Phoil Patient Comfort Fund, c/o of Niall Flanagan, Flanagan Undertakers, Ballymoe.
