Thomas Whelan (Tom),

Barrnahowna, Tourmakeady, Co. Mayo - peacefully at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar, surrounded by his loving family on December 13th, 2022.

Predeceased by his wife Eileen, parents Michael and Bridget, his siblings Paddy, John, Mary, Nora, Martin, Michael, Stephen, Bridie, Pete, Kate, Annie and his brother-in-Law Martin (Albert) Neary.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken family, sons Padraig, Michael and Tommy, daughters Rita and Mary, daughters-in-law Eileen and Sarah, grandchildren Oisin, Meadhbh, Stephen, Sean and Elouise, sister Eileen, brother-in-law Tom (Tarpey), sister-in-law Patricia, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at St. Mary’s Funeral Home, Tourmakeady on Thursday evening from 4:30pm with removal at 6:30 pm to St. Mary’s Church, Tourmakeady.

Requiem Mass on Friday at 11:00am followed by burial in Churchfield Cemetery.

Thomas’s Funeral Mass can be viewed this Friday (December 16th) at 11:00am on www.churchtv.ie/tourmakeady.
