Loving husband of Kay and father to Jennifer (Donoghue), Mary (Egan) and James.

David is deeply mourned and will be sadly missed by his wife, his daughters and son. His adored grandchildren: Aaron, Noah, Ryan and Joseph. Brothers John (Carrick-on-Shannon), Tom (Dublin), and Pat (Castlerea). His sister Eileen (Conboy, Roscommon). Sons-in-law Patrick Donoghue and Patrick (P) Egan, and James’s partner Pamela. Mother-in-law Teresa (Coyne, Oran). Brothers-in-law Joe, J.J., and Noel, sisters-in-law Margaret, Francis, Mary, Martina and Deirdre. Nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McDonagh’s Funeral Home Castlerea on Sunday evening from 4 o’clock until 6 o’clock.

Removal from McDonagh’s Funeral Home on Monday morning at 10:30am arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock with burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

House private please.

Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Roscommon Civil Defence c/o of McDonagh Funeral Directors Castlerea, or any family member.
