Josie (Michael Joseph) Kennedy,
Arnos Grove, London and originally from Carne, Belmullet, Co. Mayo - passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, 13th March 2022.
Predeceased by his parents Pat and Agnes and his brother Martin.
He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving daughters, Nora, Katherine, Josephine and Rosaleen, and his son Padraig, their mother Kathleen, his partner Mary, his adored nine grandchildren and his sons in law. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family - sisters Mary O’Connor (Ballisodare, Co. Sligo), Katherine Mangan (Shore Road, Belmullet), Marilyn O’Donoghue (Brisbane, Australia) and Teresa Healy (Carne, Belmullet), aunts Kathleen Creane (Cross, Binghamstown) and Bridget Creane (Lincoln, England), brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, many friends.

Remains will repose at McDonnells Funeral Home, Belmullet on Thursday evening from 5 o’clock until 6.15pm.
Remains will depart from the residence of his niece Jody and her husband Edmund Holmes, Carne, Belmullet on Friday morning at 11.30am with funeral arriving at the Church of the Holy Family, Carne, Belmullet for Funeral Mass at 12 o’clock followed by burial in Emlybeg cemetery.
Live streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available on McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page at 12 o'clock on Friday with all other funeral services available for viewing at 8 o'clock on Friday evening.
In keeping with current Government advice and H.S.E. guidelines regarding public gatherings, please refrain from handshaking and wear a face covering in the Funeral Home, at the Church, during Funeral Mass and at the cemetery. The Kennedy family appreciate your understanding at this difficult time.
