Beloved husband of Alice (née Lynskey) and dear father of Mary Gilboy (Corclough West), Philomena Moran (Glenamoy), Paul Hefferon (Muing), Martina Hefferon Duffy (Castlebar), Angela Hefferon (Aughalasheen), Grace Hegarty (Crossmolina), Margaret Walker (Glosh), Peter Hefferon (Crossmolina), Eilish Padden (Aughleam), Joe Hefferon (Muing), Bernie Padden (Ardmore), Carol Corduff (Muing), Claire Hefferon (Crossmolina) and Padraig Hefferon (Muing).
He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his daughters & sons in law, grandchildren & great grandchildren, brothers Martin Hefferon (Muing), Bertie Hefferon (Muing) and Desmond Hefferon (Church Road, Belmullet), sisters Una Philips (Nottingham) and May Gaughan (Birmingham), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Remains will repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Saturday from 12 noon until 3 o’clock.
Funeral will arrive at the Church of the Holy Family, Carne, Belmullet on Sunday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in Emlybeg Cemetery.
Live streaming of the Funeral Mass is available for viewing at 12 noon on Sunday with all other funeral services available for viewing after 9pm on Sunday evening.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to be made on line to “COPD Support Ireland” via their website.
In keeping with current Government advice and H.S.E. guidelines regarding public gatherings, please ensure social distancing is being respected, face coverings are worn, also please refrain from handshaking in the Funeral Home and outside the Church and inside during Funeral Mass and at the cemetery. The Hefferon family appreciate your understanding at this difficult time.
