Thornhill, Murrisk, Westport, Co. Mayo - November 29th 2021 - peacefully surrounded by his family and in the exceptional care of The Mayo Hospice, Castlebar.

Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his loving wife Margaret née Staunton, sons Joe and Paul, sisters Mary Feeney, Margaret Sams and Ann Allison, daughter-in-law Margaret, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended Gill and Staunton Families, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

George will lie in repose at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh for family and friends on Tuesday evening November 30th from 6 o’clock concluding with prayers at 7 o’clock.

Removal from his home on Wednesday morning at 11.40 walking to St. Patrick's Church, Lecanvey arriving for 12 noon Mass of Christian Burial followed by interment in Murrisk Abbey Cemetery.

House Private Please.
