Nora Mannion née Shaughnessy,

Longwood Avenue, South Circular Road, Dublin, native of Killyan, Newbridge, Co. Galway (November 23rd, 2021) - peacefully in the superb and loving care of the staff of Mill Lane Manor Nursing Home, Naas.

Loving wife of the late Anthony (formerly Killadoon, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo). Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her loving nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, grand- nephews & nieces, extended Shaughnessy & Mannion families and many friends.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Nora will lie in repose at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo on Friday (November 26th) from 7pm, concluding with prayers at 8pm for family & friends, followed by removal to the Church of the Holy Family, Killeen.

Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday at 12 noon followed by interment beside her late husband Anthony, in the adjoining cemetery.

In keeping with HSE guidelines on Covid-19, funeral home is walk through, and mask wearing and no hand shaking. Permitted number in church is 70 people.

Nora was such a gem! Full of life, kind hearted and always SO welcoming. She had a wonderful laugh. Whenever we visited, she put out such a spread. Dad and Tony were reunited after 50 years apart, by a chance of fate and a sister who stayed in a B&B of one of Tony's niece's. We will remember Nora's patience and devotion to Tony always. God rest her soul. It was SUCH a privilege to have known her and shared time in her company. Our sympathies to all her extended family and to Mike Mannion, in particular, whom we met several times.
