Maurice Dowling,
143 Chestnut Grove, Castlebar and formerly of Ardfert, Co. Kerry (29th August 2021, aged 87), retired member of An Garda Síochána - peacefully in Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar after a short illness.
Predeceased by his parents Bertie and Lena and his sister Sarah Fitzgerald.
Deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife Patsy and children Helena Shanahan (Dublin), Francis (New York), Trisha Ramkelawon (Derby, UK), Mossie (Tipperary) and Bertie ( Ballyheane), sister Sheila Keane (Kerry), son-in-law Colm, daughters–in-law Jackie, Maggie and Geraldine, 18 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, neighbours, extended family and friends.
Rest in Peace Maurice
Reposing at his residence in Chestnut Grove, Castlebar this Tuesday from 5pm to 7pm, for family, neighbours and close friends.
Private removal on Wednesday at 1.15pm to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar for Funeral Mass at 2pm (via Spencer Street).
Maurice will be laid to rest afterwards in Castlebar New Cemetery.
