Leo O'Shaughnessy,

Market Square, Castlebar (23rd March, 2021) - peacefully at Mayo University Hospital.

Very deeply regretted by niece Elizabeth (UK), cousins, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Removal from Coadys Funeral Home this Thursday at 11am for Funeral Mass at 11.30am in The Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.

Burial afterwards in Castlebar Old Cemetery.

Due to the HSE and Government guidelines the funeral at all stages will be private for family only.

House strictly private please.

Deepest Sympathy to Leo's Niece and his cousins. Leo was an Icon in Castlebar. His yearly outing of putting Mayflowers at the front door of all his neighbors in Market Square and some other streets as well. While we know he has passed away, but I hope his tradition will continue. He was a Gentleman to the last, and despite having a very bad back he would always stop for a chat and lean on his Rolls Royce for a bit of relief. Castlebar has lost a special person,and I hope he will be able to pick Mayflowers in Heaven and continue what he did in Market Square, Rest in Peace Leo.
