Predeceased by his son Tommy.
Beloved husband of Winfred.
He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his daughters Irene Dolly (Galway) and Helen McGuinn (Balla, Co. Mayo), son Damien (Tallagh Road, Belmullet), grandchildren Jason, Jack, Ellie, Annie, Tommy, Amy, Katie and Dillon, brothers Pat (Muing, Belmullet) and Noel (Tallagh Road, Belmullet), sister Geraldine Lavelle (Carnerock, Belmullet), sons-in-law Joe McGuinn and Aidan Dolly, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Funeral will depart from McDonnell's Funeral Home, Belmullet on Wednesday afternoon at 12.15 and travel via the Tommy’s residence on Tallagh Road, arriving for Funeral Mass at the Church of the Holy Family, Carne, Belmullet at 1 o’clock followed by burial in Tarmoncarra Cemetery.
Live streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available for viewing on McDonnell Funeral Director’s Facebook page with streaming of all the funeral service for the late Tommy Cawley available for viewing after 7 O’Clock on Wednesday evening.
In keeping with current Government advice and H.S.E. guidelines regarding public gatherings, Tommy’s funeral will be private for immediate family only.
For those who would like to pay their respects as the funeral cortege passes through the town and en-route to the church via Tallagh Road, please stand in a socially distanced manner on the streets, roadsides, outside the church and cemetery ensuring public health and safety is being upheld to the highest standard.
The Cawley family appreciate your understanding at this difficult time.
Memorial Mass for the soul of Tommy will be held at a later date.
