Bernie McAndrew nee Heneghan
Ballina Road, Belmullet and formerly of Geesala - suddenly at her residence on 10th January 2020.
Predeceased by her parents Josie and Bridget (nee Sweeney) and her brothers Willie Paul, J.T. and Dermot.
Beloved wife of Ian. She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken husband and dear family, sister Marie Fleming (Claremorris), mother-in-law Maureen McAndrew (Belmullet), sisters-in-law Maureen Heneghan (Leeds, England), Eileen Heneghan (Geesala), Agnes Gilroy, Patricia McAndrew, Lorna Shine, Maria McAndrew, Evelyn Munnelly, Annette McAndrew, Jillian McAndrew and Ailish Barrett, brother in law Edmund McAndrew and his wife Delia Garvin, nieces, nephews, extended Heneghan and McAndrew family members, cherished friends and former work colleagues.

Funeral will depart from McDonnell's Funeral Home, Belmullet on Tuesday at 12.30 to arrive at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Belmullet for Funeral Mass at 1 o’clock followed by burial in Geesala Cemetery. The funeral cortege will depart the Sacred Heart Church, Belmullet, travelling via Shore Road, Belmullet and on through the Belmullet Industrial Estate for a moments respect at Ian and Bernie’s home. The funeral will continue onto Ballina Road/Attycunnane enroute to Geesala. On arrival in Geesala, the funeral will proceed to the Heneghan family home for a moments respect before finally arriving at Geesala Cemetery.
In keeping with current Government advice and H.S.E. guidelines regarding public gatherings, Bernie’s funeral will be private for immediate family only. For those who would like to pay their respects as the funeral cortege passes through the town and enroute to Geesala, please stand in a socially distanced manner on the streets and roadsides ensuring public health and safety is being upheld to the highest standard.
The McAndrew and Heneghan families appreciate your understanding at this difficult time.
