Barhauve, Rossport, Ballina, Co. Mayo - peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family on the 12th of October 2020.
Predeceased by his daughter Olivia, parents Nora and Frank and brother PJ.
He will be sadly missed by his loving family, wife Bernie, sons Kevin (Muings, Barnatra) and Jonathan (Perth, Australia), daughters Elaine Carey (Perth, Australia) and Claire (Barhauve, Rossport), brothers Michael (Glencastle), Stephen (Glenamoy), Vincent (Glencastle) and Frank (Barhauve), sisters Helen McAndrew (Porturlin), Breege Naughton (Crossmolina) and Geraldine Irwin (Glenamoy), son in law Adrian Carey and daughter in law Lorraine Naughton, grandchildren Emma and Shane Naughton, Molly-May and Joseph Carey, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Funeral cortege will arrive at the Star of The Sea Church, Cornboy on Thursday, 15th October for Funeral Mass at 2 o’clock.
Burial will take place afterwards in Kilgalligan cemetery.
Due to HSE guidelines regarding the Corona Virus (Covid 19), John’s Funeral mass is confined to family only.
