The good conditions are also expected to continue into the early part of next week:

  • This weekend is set to be the hottest of the year so far, with temperatures of over 20 degrees.

There will be good sunny spells across the country today, with the warmest conditions in inland areas.

There will be a chance of the odd shower, but temperatures will still range from 16 to 21 degrees.

Alan O'Reilly, from Carlow Weather, says it will be even better tomorrow.
