Kiltimagh/Knock Utd

  • The Kiltimagh/ Knock United senior men's team are swapping their football boots for runner this month, in support of two local causes.

They're taking on a running challenge, with a target of 1,500 km, to be completed during February.

Over the course of this month, the senior players and their management, along with club committee members and underage coaches, will complete runs at a variety of distances (within their own 5km area) which will be added up to try and reach the 1500km target.

Funds raised will go towards the Down Syndrome Mayo Community Garden - which will be located on the Kiltimagh / Knock club grounds - and the Cenacolo House in Knock, helping people suffering from addition.

Donations can be made on the February Fitness Fundraiser GoFundMe page.
