Connacht’s Dave Heffernan and Caelan Dorris who plays for Leinster have both been included in Andy Farrell’s first 35-man Six Nations Squad.

The 34-year old Leinster out-half replaces Rory Best who retired after the World Cup.

  • There's just one change to the Ireland matchday squad to face France in the final game of this year's Six Nations campaign.

Chris Farrell is named on the bench for the game in Paris on Saturday night.

Jacob Stockdale is at full back with Hugo Keegan and Andrew Conway on the wings while Johnny Sexton and Conor Murray are the half-backs.

Cian Healy, Rob Herring and Andrew Porter are in the front row with Tadhg Beirne and James Ryan behing them.

Lacken's Caelan Doris, Will Connors and CJ Stander complete the pack.

Ballina's Dave Heffernan who scored a try last weekend against Italy is among the replacements.
