Tyrone referee Sean Hurson will be the man in the middle for Mayo and Kerry's opening Super 8's clash in Fitzgerald Stadium, at 4 o'clock on Sunday.

The Red Hand official refereed the division two final between Donegal and Meath earlier in the year and will officiate the match between James Horan and Peter Keane's men.

Kerry will look to avenge two league losses to Mayo this year in Tralee and in Croke Park in the league final, while Mayo will look to continue their momentum from the qualifiers and come one step closer to an All-Ireland semi-final place.

Mayo will play Meath in Croke Park on the following weekend and will host Donegal at home in the final round of the last eight competition.

You can follow the game live on Midwest Radio, with live commentary from Michael D. McAndrew and Martin Carney with thanks to JJ Burke Car sales Ballinrobe.
