There was success for the two Mayo teams on the opening day of the FAI Gaynor Cup in Limerick.
In the U14 Group C Mayo defeated Longford 2-0 in their opening game and drew 0-0 with Carlow in their second game.
In the U16 Group D Mayo defeated Longford 4-1 in their opening game.
