The Mayo senior football panel could be without midfielder Tom Parsons for the rest of the season, after being stretchered off the pitch yesterday during their Connacht Senior Football championship clash with Galway.

Mayo GAA’s PRO Paul Cunnane told Midwest Sport today that they believe Tom Parsons suffered a dislocated knee, but they have no further update yet.

the midfielder's injury will be assessed in the coming days, and they should know later in the week how long he’ll be out for.
